Find your lost android phone

Hello. In this post I will talk about how to find your stolen android phone from anywhere on this world. The app I’m talking about is “where’s my droid”. This tiny software can be downloaded from the Android Play for free.

About the app

Where’s my droid is developed by Alienman Tech. So, let me talk about how the app works.

First of all, you can set some of your phone number which help to find your phone “Set Special Number” option in the app. And also you can set an attention word for GPS. So, whenever your phone is lost just text the attention word from the phone number which you have already set. Even if the GPS is off, after getting you attention word text your GPS will be switch on and where’s my droid will find exact same location of  your phone.

Where’s my droid will actually send 3 text from the lost phone. First one says like phones found and GPS is switched on. Second will tell you the location including speed (if it traveling) and direction (north, south like that). The third text will ave a link to Google Maps.

You can also set an attention word to change the profile (if in silent or vibration mode) and to ring your phone for 30 sec. Also where’s my droid also gives another option where you can set an attention word to wipe your phone data (wipe data completely or wipe data in SD card). You can also set a passcode to prevent further change in settings.
